POETIC HOPE

While enjoying photos from some friends I came across this image by a Austin Photographer, Simi S.  The flower was labeled "Imperfect Magnolia Tulip."  However, only the beauty of it's uniqueness is seen by my eye.

Recently another Photog friend Ross Knight gave me the nick name "Poetic Hope" and I have started to embrace the fact that not only am I a photographer, I am also a poet and it's not just phase I'm going thru with my love for writing, it's a gift from the Our heavenly Father.
Well now, back to our Imperfect picture. Immediately upon seeing it, rows of sentences begin to flood my mind as if this creation had a story to tell.  I hope you enjoy the poem I titled "Treasure In the Middle."    Photo by Simi Shonowo. Poem by A.Hope Smith (Poetic Hope)
Simi it's great when two gifts meet, isn't it?

SEARCH AND RESCUE

We can almost hear the shuffling of the 3 angels of God, in heaven, readying themselves with a great flight toward earth,  for the soon-coming search and rescue.  This shall be a transforming time. May we be found faithful. The loud cry of Revelation 18 will be a powerful repetition  of the messages of the three angels of Revelation 14. Illustration ©  Review and Herald Publ. Assoc.

When tenderness speaks By A.Hope

Well, well...I took a much-needed break from blog time, so now I'll write again.   I began writing poetry in 2001.  This poem was revised in February 2022 in dedication to my friend Pam.  Enjoy! ©When tenderness speaks..  by a.hope Tenderness is a language all its own. Use it to touch, teach, show love and heal. Apply it towards expressions of sincerity, mending beautiful friendships.  Though it is spoken in softness, the degree of volume is immeasurable.   The Father breaths so gently upon each of our hearts. He has given us such valuable tools in conviction. I've learned to listen closely...when tenderness speaks.
