Caribbean Music and Culture

While in Maryland this weekend, my girfriend Didi invited me to her Doctor's home cookout. While there, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Philip Bovell, an Orthopedic Surgeon who invited a couple hundred people to his home for what
he calls "Thanks giving to God". His treat to the audience throughout the day was The Pan Master Steel Band.

Pan Masters Steel Orchestra is based right outside of Washington DC in North Brentwood, Maryland, and are widely recognized as being one of the top steelbands on the east coast, as well as an important cultural institution dedicated to preserving and promoting Caribbean music and culture.

You can enjoy samples of their music on http://www.panmasters.com/
Be sure to arrow all the way down to the bottom of thier page for YouTube recordings.

SEARCH AND RESCUE

We can almost hear the shuffling of the 3 angels of God, in heaven, readying themselves with a great flight toward earth,  for the soon-coming search and rescue.  This shall be a transforming time. May we be found faithful. The loud cry of Revelation 18 will be a powerful repetition  of the messages of the three angels of Revelation 14. Illustration ©  Review and Herald Publ. Assoc.
