All Things Cary Town

As the Richmond Pictage  Photography Pug leader, I have the privilege of planning our monthly meetings.  Our group is small for now but that doesn't stop the pics from flowing.  The month of July was themed "All Things Cary Town".  After a few blocks of friendly folks and questionnaire's, my shutter finger got hungry and we ended up at New York Deli of Richmond, Virginia.  I was so hungry, I forgot to take the pic of my terrific Greek Salad piled with romaine lettuce, cucumbers, loads of 3 types of olives and feta cheese...yum~
...but I did shoot my water. Enjoy the pics!

Thank you for sharing your wisdom and excitement---Joy and I are having a wonderful time taking pictures. Today at 12 noon I will be taking pictures of a beautiful church—I’m fascinated with the beautiful structures of some churches located in Macon and Atlanta. I guess this will be the next series I explore after my outdoor series ie flowers, birds, trees, parks etc

SEARCH AND RESCUE

We can almost hear the shuffling of the 3 angels of God, in heaven, readying themselves with a great flight toward earth,  for the soon-coming search and rescue.  This shall be a transforming time. May we be found faithful. The loud cry of Revelation 18 will be a powerful repetition  of the messages of the three angels of Revelation 14. Illustration ©  Review and Herald Publ. Assoc.

When tenderness speaks By A.Hope

Well, well...I took a much-needed break from blog time, so now I'll write again.   I began writing poetry in 2001.  This poem was revised in February 2022 in dedication to my friend Pam.  Enjoy! ©When tenderness speaks..  by a.hope Tenderness is a language all its own. Use it to touch, teach, show love and heal. Apply it towards expressions of sincerity, mending beautiful friendships.  Though it is spoken in softness, the degree of volume is immeasurable.   The Father breaths so gently upon each of our hearts. He has given us such valuable tools in conviction. I've learned to listen closely...when tenderness speaks.
